"Mr. Vice Principal and I will visit the store you're helping at later."

Pinch! The teacher Found Out! is episode ten of Ojamajo Doremi.

Opening Clip[]

The girls sadly inform their crying fairies that they can no longer work at the Maho-Do. This makes them worry over being Apprentice Witch and they embrace each other in disbelief.

Summary[]

With proof that the girls may be breaking a law against child labor, their teacher and vice principal decide to pay the Maho Do a visit. Without their parents permission, the girls are forced to come up with a last-second plan to ensure they can keep working.

Recap[]

Someone takes pictures of various things at the Maho-Do: its interior and exterior, accessories, the girls as they work, and its customers.

Later, the girls are on their way to school when Hazuki notices Doremi's uplifted mood. Doremi is very happy that they have fairies now, and with their new magic they can continue to work and improve as Apprentice.

Meanwhile, the photographer is revealed to be their classmate, Kaori Shimakura. She took pictures of the shop for journalism due to its recent popularity, but Tamaki is curious after one of the girls recognize the trio. Doremi, Aiko and Hazuki walk in just then and everyone stares at them with alarm, much to their confusion. Doremi asks for an explanation but Tamaki smirks and takes off, leaving them with two of their friends, Nanako and Kanae, who are very concerned.

During Study Hall, Seki-Sensei calls for the girls and tells them that they have to see Kocho-sensei. They are very confused until Doremi recalls Tamaki was holding a picture, and they ask Seki-sensei what happened. She explains that it was brought to the staff's attention that the girls were working at the shop, then she asks if it is true. Hazuki says they aren't technically, with Aiko mentioning that they don't get paid to do it. The girls continue to express their innocence in the office, and Seki-sensei lends a hand in their defense as Hazuki claims that the Grandma they have been helping is ill, so this is temporary. The Principal sees no harm in this but Kyoto-sensei is very uncertain and doesn't believe them. However, the girls aren't doing anything wrong, which they can agree upon.

With their Teacher gone, the class begins to play around. The boys are playing ball, while the girls chat about Doremi, Aiko and Hazuki, very worried for them. They ignore Tamaki, who is pleased with herself, until she gets hit with the ball and angrily threatens to report the boys. Kotake insults her for being so nosy, leading her to tease him by asking if he supports the girls, causing him to become flustered. But the girls return and everyone -including Kotake- are relieved to know they aren't in trouble, but Tamaki silently fumes.

The girls' excitement return once school ends, now that they can work more freely and not have to worry. Shimakura and Tamaki observe them from a distance, with a dissatisfied Tamaki convinced there is more to this than they think, ignoring Shimakura as she tries to refuse helping out any longer. Before the girls can leave, they are called by Seki-sensei, who wanted to let them know that she and the Vice Principal will stop by the shop later. They want to make sure the girls didn't lie. The girls anxiously run off in a hurry. She finds their behavior strange but decides not to linger on it, instead scolding Tamaki and Shimakura for what they did. She tells Tamaki that she should have spoken to her first instead of going directly to the Principal. She takes off, causing them to throw blame at one-another, then shift it towards Doremi.

At the store the girls hurry to locate Majorika but find a letter instead. She took Lala and left for a hot spring trip she won from a lottery, so until she returns the shop will be left in their care. As the girls begin to worry, Dela appears -stuck in a flower pot- and they get an idea to dress her up. They hurriedly explain what happened and she initially refuses to help until they convince her that being exposed will cost her a good amount of money. She has no choice but to agree, as long as they pay her extra for her service.

Now that they have found the place, Seki-Sensei and the Vice Principal stand outside the Maho-Do to observe it. They head inside to find the trio waiting for them, the girls greet them and let them inside to explore and speak to the Granny who runs the shop. Aiko nearly manages to convince Seki-censei to purchase a ring that will help her meet her destined boyfriend, but she snaps out of it at the last second and gently chastises her for lying to an adult. Which causes everyone to laugh. The vice principal comes across Dela, and the girls express that she has a cold and can't speak very well right now in order to avoid contamination. The adults are satisfied with this and they decide that they have seen enough and can leave, until "grandma" suddenly gets up and runs into the nearby room.

As Aiko claims she has to visit the restroom a lot while she is sick, Doremi and Hazuki run after Dela, who is in a hurry to get going because she has other customers. They try to convince her to stay but in her hurry to leave, she accidentally takes the clothing with her. With some quick thinking, Hazuki casts magic to turn Doremi into the Grandma while Aiko tries to keep the adults at bay. Doremi-as-grandma returns and is asked where Doremi went as Hazuki rejoins them to say she is now in the restroom. She quietly informs Aiko of what happened while they resume chatting with the grandmother. Seki-sensei is suspicious but she tells the girls that all they need a signature to confirm this is only a part-time job, then they will leave. Suddenly, Doremi notices the magic is beginning to fade and she rushes out of the room, this time they transform Hazuki into Grandma, but Doremi accidentally changes her into an old man, followed by a sumo wrestler. Aiko joins the girls and she uses magic to transform them both into Grandma so that they can take turns.

They return to the main room to sign the slip, but with the magic fading she is forced to flee again. But this time, Seki-sensei sends Vice Principal outside to wait for her, and once he leaves she opens the door the girls keep running through, finding them and the clothing items in a heap. She expresses her suspicions and the girls reveal that the owner isn't there right now. Seki-sensei promises she won't say anything, but she did call their parents beforehand. The girls are startled to find them by the door waiting, but they graciously show them around while Seki-sensei helps them explain everything. She asks on the girls behalf if they can continue working there, and their parents are so impressed by their kindness and responsibility that they agree to let them continue.

Everyone shares a cheer as Majorika and Lala return, forced to retreat to avoid being seen. They wonder what was going on while they were away.
